Welcome Cards From the People They'll Actually Work With
Most of the team signing a new hire's card hasn't met them yet. So skip the guesses about who they are: each person writes their name, what they work on, and one thing the new hire can ask them about.

Perfect for every situation
A map of who to ask, not a wall of compliments
Twenty versions of "so excited to have you" don't help anyone find the expense form. Twenty names with "ask me about…" do, and new hires keep that card.
Remote and hybrid hires
For someone joining remotely, this card may be the first time they see the team's names in one place. Everyone signs from their own phone, wherever they are.
January starts
Open the card in mid-December, before people leave for the break, and schedule it for the first morning back. Nobody has to remember on January 4.
From the manager, first
The manager is the one person who knows why this hire was made. Sign first and say it, and the rest of the team follows the tone.
Questions
When should a welcome card arrive?+
On the first morning, or the Friday before. For January 2027, New Year's Day is Friday, January 1, so many teams onboard on Monday, January 4, in both Canada and the US.
What should people write if they've never met the new hire?+
Their name, what they work on, and one specific thing the new hire can ask them about. It's honest, and it's the most useful thing on the card in week one.
Can I send it before their work email exists?+
Yes. You choose the recipient's email, so you can send it to their personal address and schedule it for the morning they start.
Do my coworkers need an account to sign?+
No account, no app, no signup. They open the link, write their message, and they're done.
How many people can sign?+
Up to 50 people can sign one card, all from the same link.
Other occasions
